These Limited & Special Edition nets take the classic Kawa and Ogawa designs and push them into true one‑of‑one territory. Each handle is individually burned, then patterned with a hand‑cut fish‑scale texture that adds both grip and character. After shaping, every handle is waxed and polished by hand — a slow, deliberate process that leaves a warm, organic finish you can feel the moment you pick it up.
 
Because each handle is worked by hand from start to finish, no two nets are identical. Every burn pattern, every scale line, every tone in the wood is its own fingerprint. These are functional tools, but they’re also small pieces of craft — meant to be used hard, carried often, and appreciated for the details.
 
Bamboo Frames, Honest Materials
Each frame is formed from natural bamboo, bent and finished to preserve its grain and warmth. The deep, knotless mesh protects delicate fish and moves cleanly through tight water. A leather side tab provides a secure point for a lanyard or magnetic release, while a brass D‑ring at the end of the handle offers a second attachment option for anglers who prefer a rear tether.
 
Two Handle Profiles
 
Kawa — Straight Handle Built for anglers who like a clean, direct feel in hand. Kawa (川) means river — a simple name for a net shaped for tight seams, shaded pockets, and small water.
Ogawa — Curved Handle Designed for the intimate water most anglers walk past. Ogawa (小川) means small creek — a fitting name for a net meant for narrow trickles and wild, unpressured fish.
