Graywolf‑Built Ijuin Yomogi — 7'0" 3wt 3‑Piece
A beautifully tuned small‑stream tool built on the legendary Ijuin Yomogi blank — light, lively, and impossibly smooth. This 7'0" 3wt 3‑piece carries that unmistakable Yomogi feel: deep loading, crisp recovery, and a buttery presentation that makes close‑range work feel effortless.
Threadwork is classic and understated: light olive silk tipped black, pulled tight and translucent to complement the blank’s natural tone. The grip is a flor‑grade half wells, shaped clean and comfortable for long days on the water.
Hardware is anchored by a Lemke LC1R reel seat fitted with a brown amboyna wood insert, giving the rod a warm, premium finish. Up front, a Lemke agate stripping guide with a moss‑agate stone sets the tone — smooth, traditional, and unmistakably custom. Alignment dots and a clean hook keeper round out the build.
The rod comes housed in a custom rod bag and aluminum tube, ready for travel or display.
