For years of building fly rods—mostly glass, mostly light—I kept wishing for a fly line that actually matched the feel of those rods. Everything I tried missed the mark. Too heavy. Too long. Too pricey. Wrong color. Wrong intention.
 
So I had my own made.
 
IVORY DT is a purpose‑built, shorter double taper fly line, offered in 0wt through 5wt. It carries a refined, neutral ivory finish that stays quiet on the water and features precision‑formed loops at both ends for clean rigging and full reversibility. It’s designed for the kind of fishing light rods excel at—tight quarters, subtle casts, and controlled, deliberate presentations.
 
Each production run is extremely limited—only 25 lines at a time. Every line is hand‑wound, inspected, and finished in small batches. They’re boxed in kraft packaging with a cushioned interior, then labeled and sealed by hand here in Michigan. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just honest, small‑batch tackle made with intention.
 
The lines are imported, but they’re not big‑factory production. They come from a small shop that builds in limited quantities, and every line is finished and quality‑checked here in Michigan before it leaves my hands.
